Works with Dropbox and OneDrive

Show your Dropbox or OneDrive files on your website.

Pick a folder and choose how it looks — a file list, a photo gallery and more. When you update a file in Dropbox or OneDrive, your website updates too, and its download link stays the same.

Your files stay in your own Dropbox or OneDrive. FolderBloom can view them; it can’t change or delete them.

Try it

This file list is live

It’s a real FolderBloom embed showing a demo Dropbox folder. Search it, sort it, open a folder or preview a file — exactly what your visitors would do.

  1. Search for “care” — the list narrows as you type.
  2. Change the sort to Newest first or Largest first.
  3. Preview a file — the eye icon opens a PDF or spreadsheet right in the browser.
  4. Open the Contracts folder with the password bloom-demo.
  5. Play the care tip — sound files play right in the list, no download needed.
  6. Copy a file’s link — it keeps working when the file is replaced.

How it works

Your folder becomes part of your website

  1. 1Your files are in Dropbox or OneDrive

Keep working the way you do now. Your original files never leave your storage.

  2. 2FolderBloom shows the folder on your website

Visitors see a tidy list or gallery they can open, preview and download.

  3. 3Update a file and the website follows

Save a new version over the old one. The website shows it after the next sync — usually within a few minutes.

For example: your prices change, so you save the new price list over the old PDF in Dropbox. Your website now offers the new list, and the download link you put in emails, QR codes and old posts still works — it simply opens the new version.

Who can see it

You decide who sees each folder

Folders inside follow the same setting unless you change them. Nothing outside the folder you choose is ever shown.

Questions

What people ask first

What happens when I replace a file?

Save the new version over the old one with the same name. After FolderBloom’s next update, your website offers the new version and the existing link opens it — usually within seconds, and otherwise within about 35 minutes, when the regular check runs. Renaming a file, or moving it to another folder inside the published one, keeps its link too.

Does FolderBloom copy my files?

Your original files stay untouched in your Dropbox or OneDrive. FolderBloom can view them but never changes or deletes them. Documents are sent to visitors straight from your storage when they download. FolderBloom keeps file names and sizes so it can list them quickly, and for photo galleries it stores smaller, web-ready copies so pages load fast; the originals stay in your storage.

What does $60 a year cover?

One website. www.example.com and example.com count as the same website. On it you can show as many folders as you like, in as many designs as you like. Another domain, or a different subdomain such as shop.example.com, needs its own plan.

Does it work with my website?

Yes, if you can add a bit of HTML to a page — WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow and most website builders allow this. You copy one line of website code from FolderBloom and paste it where the files should appear. For WordPress there’s also a plugin with a simple shortcode.

What’s the difference between a password-protected folder and a private client folder?

A password-protected folder shows as locked on your website; anyone who has the password can open it. A private client folder doesn’t show on your website at all — only the people you invite can see it, by signing in with a link FolderBloom emails them, so there’s no password to pass around. Use passwords for shared material (say, a members’ folder) and client folders when each client should see only their own files.

Does it work with Google Drive or iCloud?

Not at the moment — FolderBloom works with Dropbox and OneDrive, including their free plans. If your files live in Google Drive, a free Dropbox or OneDrive folder used just for your website files works well.
