Create a photo gallery from a Dropbox or OneDrive folder

Put your photos in a Dropbox or OneDrive folder and FolderBloom turns it into a gallery on your website. It makes smaller, web-ready copies so the gallery loads quickly on phones, while your originals stay in your storage. Add a photo to the folder and it appears in the gallery after FolderBloom syncs.

Set it up

How to do it

About five minutes, and nothing to install.

  1. Add photos to a folder

JPG, PNG or WebP photos in Dropbox or OneDrive. Captions can come from the dashboard or a spreadsheet saved in the folder.

  2. Choose a gallery layout

Masonry, uniform grid, slideshow, before-and-after slider, single image or logo carousel.

  3. Preview it

See your real photos in the layout before you publish. FolderBloom prepares web-sized versions automatically.

  4. Paste one line into your website

Copy the embed code into any page that accepts HTML, or use the WordPress plugin’s shortcode.

Questions

Common questions

Will large photos slow my site down?

No. FolderBloom makes smaller copies sized for each screen and serves those, so a phone never downloads your full-size originals. Your originals stay untouched in Dropbox or OneDrive.

How many photos can a gallery show?

It depends on your plan — gallery plans are priced by how many photos you show. See the pricing page for current limits.

How does the before-and-after slider work?

You pair two photos — a before and an after — and visitors drag a divider to compare them.

Can I keep some photos private?

Yes. You can protect a folder with a password, or share it only with invited clients through the client portal.
